I was overweight at 95kg and my GP tested my BP and found it a little on the high side...I think it was 'white coat hypertension' because BP was normal when tested by me. Also and incidentally it was normal when taken by the (female) nurse. Whether it was fear of the doc. I don't know. Maybe it was fear of possible medical consequences? In any case the GP assured me that medication would do no harm and in any event with BP the lower the better (within reason). Now at 75kg I am no longer concerned about it. Losing 20kg was interesting. I tried exercise, biking and walking and also went to the Gym. That didn't work although I became noticeably fitter. What eventually worked was simply eating less. I stopped snacking and didn't bother with lunch. My energy levels were unaffected and I still eat minimally. Hope this answers your enquiry. If not please let me know.

So why Alex were you prescribed Olmetec in the first place, since your bp seems to be perfectly stable without the need for medication? Kind regards, Rick
