why I want to lower my blood pressure naturally..

Hi, I am a 48 year old female. I have moderately high blood pressure. My Doctor has put me on blood pressure meds. I have been through 3 different types within the past year. Although they may lower my blood pressure, each one has so many disabling side effects. I am not tolerating any of them.

Since I started taking them I get this feeling of impending death. I feel like I am going to pass out daily. And now because of that feeling I am pretty much completely disabled.

I have gained weight from lack of activity. I am depressed. I have never been depressed in my life. I have terrible panic attacks. But when I have tried to get off the meds, I feel my heart pounding very hard and fast when I am sitting. This too is disabling and makes me afraid to exercise.

The blood pressure pills take that fast irregular pounding heartbeat away. most of the time. I also have pvc's badly. I have had my heart checked using an echo cardiogram and holter monitor. They found nothing wrong but pvc's and high blood pressure.

Either way, I am scared. I need to figure something out that is natural. Fast!! Help me please!!!!

Thank You

Get off the pills slowly
by: Anonymous

Cathy,

When you go off most perscrption drugs, you need to do it slowly; cut you dose a little at a time.
I'm no doctor, but maybe that is part of your problem. Also, are you doing all the other things you can to cure you high BP naturally. I just started a week ago, but have had AMAZING results. I've gone from Stage 2 to normal in 7 days. I just can't belive it. I think eliminating white sugar and white flour was the key to my success. Now if I can just keep it up!

Panic Attack Treatment
by: Anonymous

I fully understand your problem. All pills are a band-aid treatment. Medical practitioners do not get to the bottom of the problem. I do not have an answer for the BP - this requires an understanding of the causes. The panic attacks can be dealt with creating more serotonin in your body. Anti-depressants attempt to retain something that is already depleted. The answer for depression, anxiety and panic attacks is taking L-tryptophan in conjunction with vitamin B6 and niacidamin.

BP, Anxiety & Depression
by: Alex

Hi Cathy. There are two conditions you need to deal with. The BP is one and there are several things you can do to improve matters.
However the anxiety and depression need to be dealt with first. The best thing you can do immediately is to see a good doctor who should be able to treat this.
Sometimes it is difficult to find a good doctor who will take the time to diagnose you properly and carefully monitor your condition...but believe me if you do find one it will be invaluable. I suggest you ask around and get references from friends and neighbours etc. then go and see him/her asap. Tell the doctor all your symptoms and let him do his job. A good one will really want to help.

Hold Fast
by: Anonymous

Dudette...I can understand where you are coming from. I'm drunk at the moment (just closing down when I saw this post) Tomorow I'll be in better shape and I'll share my experience with you. It might help. In the meantime secure yourself with the thought that things can get better...sometimes they get worse too. But at first look for the light. Travel hopefully...there is nothing new under the sun.
I was a soldier and I was trained to hold fast...best advice I ever had.
